The rules for using Thrifted.
Who can use Thrifted

You need to be 18 or older to sell or bid.
Accounts and usernames

Your @username is chosen once and cannot be changed later. Our team can change one in safety cases.
Buying and selling

Buyers pay a buyer protection fee of 8% of the item price plus R5, shown as its own line at checkout. Sellers pay no fee.
Escrow and delivery

Payment is held until the item is delivered. The buyer then has 24 hours to accept it or raise an issue, after which the money is released automatically.
Auctions

A bid in the last 2 minutes extends the auction by 2 minutes. The winner has 12 hours to pay, then the runner-up is offered the item at their own bid.
Closing your account

You can delete your account in Settings once nothing is open. Order and payment records are kept for the period the law requires.
